Where Is Manas Resort Located?
Manas Resort is situated in the village Talegaon, Taluka Igatpuri, District Nashik, Maharashtra, India. Its pin code is 422403. It is conveniently located just above Kasara ghat on Mumbai Nashik highway.
When was Manas Resort launched?
Manas Resort was conceptualized in the year 1988 and the resort construction was completed in early 1991.The resort with 12 rooms was launched and opened for guests on 16 May 1991.
In the first year itself, the concept of the resort was liked by guests. Due to the overwhelming response, Manas started expanding every year adding rooms, and facilities to the resort.
It keeps updating & upgrading every year to suit the changing tests & trends of the guests.
How much is the area of Manas Resort?
The resort is developed on an area of about 7 acres of land. The entire land was a difficult terrain to develop.
However, it has successfully maintained the existing contours without damaging the topography of the land. The land was undevelopable land without a single tree.
Now the entire property is covered with lush green lawns and different varieties of trees. It’s converted into a natural paradise now.
Why manas resort is now called, Manas Resort With Petting Zoo & Organic Farm?
Since other resorts are trying to use its name by adding suffixes or prefixes to take advantage of the goodwill it created two strong unique propositions were developed.
1] Petting Zoo 2] Organic farm. These two unique offerings are added to the original Manas Resort as the main differentiators for guests to understand the uniqueness of the original manas resort.
How many types of room categories are in Manas Resort?
There are 9 categories of rooms. Nine different categories of rooms are designed to suit the requirements of different families according to the size of the family and the budget.
Different categories of rooms have different sizes, interiors, and views from the room. The rooms are priced differently considering the size, location, view, etc.
What facilities are available in Manas Resort?
Manas Resort has huge lawns to cater to corporate events, destination weddings, and fun activities of the room guests. It has an infinity pool and a kid’s pool with a poolside open-air restaurant.
Both the pools are connected by a 20 ft. waterfall. Both pools and the poolside restaurant are overlooking the valley & mountains.
What is a Petting Zoo?
The petting zoo is a novel concept introduced by manas resort. In today’s world children have lost touch with real nature.
Today’s children are connected with the digital nature. It is necessary to connect them with real nature. With this need in mind, it started the petting zoo concept.
The idea of a petting zoo is to keep domesticated animals like different varieties of exotic dogs, cows, horses, goats, ducks, hens, rabbits, and exotic small, medium, and large birds.
All these animals, mammals, and birds are human-friendly so that one can pet them, touch them and feed them.
One can avail of pet therapy which scientifically proved to be very essential for controlling the human mind and body. Children can get close to nature by playing with them.
Who can visit a Petting Zoo?

What is an Organic Farm?
During the 2020 pandemic, it felt the need to offer healthy food to the guests. It also felt that children know vegetables and fruits but don’t know how it is grown.
In the cities, they are not exposed to farms. Therefore the organic farm was started to cater to chemical-free, pesticides free fresh food from farm to table.
Even a farm tour is given to children to educate them about farming.
Is Manas Resort a Pet-Friendly resort?
It is a pet-friendly resort. It’s not only pet-friendly but pets are VIP guests in this place.
The pets can stay with the guests as they are considered a family members of the guest. Pets are provided with a separate mattress.
One can even order specific pet food from the room service. Special photography and video session are arranged by an in-house professional photographer for free.
It has a special fenced off-leash park where one can let the pet off-leash without any worry.
Does Manas Resort have a swimming pool?
It has one Infinity pool and a children’s pool. Both the pools are connected by a waterfall. Both the pools have an uninterrupted valley view.
The infinity pool has a deck area with a Bonfire pit. The kid’s pool has a lawn area with an open-air restaurant and events area. It is connected with the children’s play area.
Due to 365 days waterfall connecting both the pools, don’t need to wait for the monsoon to enjoy the waterfall anymore.

It is well secured for children, The entire property is fenced. It has 24/7 vigilant security which does not allow children to step out of the property without a guardian.
It has a special children’s play area with a huge lawn to play on. The entire resort is kids friendly for sure.

It is a couple friendly place. You just offer a government-issued ID and no questions asked.

Which is the best time to visit Manas Resort?
Overall, all seasons are good at Manas. However, all three seasons have their advantages & disadvantages.
The only resort in Igatpuri in which the resort & the rooms are facing the valleys and mountains. Monsoon is a good season as the whole resort is engulfed with fog.
The fog is so dense that it’s difficult to see a person standing 20/30 feet away from you. It’s like you are in heaven. The valleys and mountains are green and scenic.
Waterfalls flowing from the mountains are soothing. Igatpuri, the town with the country’s second-highest rainfall, gets heavy rainfall. It keeps pouring throughout the season.
There is no sunshine for the entire season. One can find innumerable waterfalls all over Kasara ghat and Sahyadri ranges.
Winters are cool and breezy. The temperature during winters is pleasant between 15 to 25 degrees. During night time sometimes it falls up to 10 degrees.
During winters one can enjoy the Bonfire specially lit by the resort every day. During winters one can enjoy the in-villa barbeque offered by the resort on your private lawns.
